The Many Benefits of Ginger Tea
Ginger itself has a lot of helpful health properties, but I only recently became interested in seriously giving them a try — mostly because of my mother, who made a visit out a couple of weeks ago while I was … well, let’s just say she and my dad (and their dogs) weren’t the only visitors in my house that week.
I was in pain, I have to tell you. So my mom goes out to the store, comes back with some ginger, and makes me some ginger tea. All she did was basically spoon the ginger into boiling water, add some sugar at my behest, some honey, and some lemon — and low and behold, it really did ease my cramps!
Apparently it can also help out with the sniffles, though I guess actual ginger root is preferred then. We just use the already ground stuff.
